About HCGC

Henry County Gun Club is located approximately 5 1/2 miles Southwest of Puryear Tennessee on approximately 125 wooded acres.

The Club House has central air conditioning, hot and cold running water, complete kitchen facilities, and indoor restroom facilities for men and women.

SHOOTING FACILITIES:

Clay Target Shooting

2 – Skeet Fields: with wired, remote, or Voice Activated System capability. Concrete pads and walkways, and are lighted with modern high intensity lights so that shooting may be conducted at night.

2 – Trap Fields: with wired, remote, or Voice Activated System capability. can be set-up for singles or doubles. Concrete pads from 16 yards to 27 yards are interconnected with concrete walkways. Fields are illuminated by modern high intensity lights so that shooting may be conducted at night.

    *1 round = 25 clays, Doubles (2 rounds) = 50 clays

Pistol Shooting Range

One Covered Pistol Range: with 25 yard – 2 Lane Shooting Area;

1 – 35 yard Plate Rack Shooting Area;

And, “The FORT”: 2500² yard, 360° bermed Shooting Arena for USPSA and other Practical Pistol, Shotgun, and Rifle Training;

50 Yard Range

One 50 Yard Pistol/Small Bore Rifle and Black Powder Range: with 8 concrete benches and covered firing lines;

100/200 Yard Range

100 and 200 Yard Rifle Range: with a covered firing line of 5 concrete benches. A 25 yard berm to the left for zeroing, immediate front 100 yard berm with 2 steel targets and to the right a 200 yard berm with 2 steel targets.                                    


600 Yard Pitted Target Range

600 Yard Rifle Range: that has Shooting Berms at 100, 200, 300, 400, 500, & 600 Yards with ten covered firing lanes, 2 Benches and 8 Prone positions;

SHOOTING DISCIPLINES held at this time are: Skeet, Trap and Sanctioned USPSA and Steel Challenge, Bullet Pro 150, Cowboy Smallbore Silhouette, High Power/Mid-Range Prone F-Class, Vintage Military Sniper and Vintage Military Open Sight.

Always adding new and challenging Shooting Disciplines expanding the HCGC’s horizon.

We offer marksmanship training through our Appleseed Project at various times during the year.
